Cyber Security Engineer

You Should Know ± This is a full-time position
± You would be working remotely

Summary At BackSlash we pride ourselves in spotting what could be a problem and replacing it with a solution, so we entrust our CyberSec Engineers with our clients' most sensitive processes knowing they can always keep our clients safe. As a CyberSecurity Engineer you will work closely with our IT team members to establish best practices for protecting our clients' digital assets. Successful CyberSecurity Engineers will be well-versed in server technologies, operating systems, and error-remediation strategies.

We prefer candidates who + Have strong fundamental programming skills
+ Have experience procuring hardware for from-scratch network systems
+ Understand the value of communication for better security

Minimum Qualifications • 5 years of work experience as a Programmer, or Software Engineer
• A Master's in Computer Science or a related field

Cloud Architect

You Should Know ± This is a full-time position
± You would be working remotely

Summary As a Cloud Architect you will work alongside developers and UX researchers to design and deliver enterprise infrastructure, and applications to our clients' established or emerging cloud systems. You will need to have experience in the successful implementation of admin dashboards using modern web technologies.

We prefer candidates who + Have strong fundamental programming skills
+ Have experience developing for APIs
+ Have a proven track record of producing quality documentation

Minimum Qualifications • 3 years of work experience as a Programmer, or Software Engineer
• A Bachelor's in Computer Science or a related field

Senior UX Researcher

You Should Know ± This is a full-time position
± You would be working remotely

Summary As a Senior UX Researcher you will be the lead on all public-facing interfaces. Our clients count on BackSlash to not only make applications that are beautiful, but also highly functional. As the Senior UX Researcher in your team, you will lead Design Freelancers, and Designers on the correct implementation of design paradigms using metrics and analytics as your guiding light.

We prefer candidates who + Have strong fundamental design skills in Software Design
+ Have experience designing for the web's "box model"
+ Have a proven track record of employing data in design

Minimum Qualifications • 5 years of work experience as a Designer
• A Bachelor's in Computer Science, Design or a related field

Client Advisor

You Should Know ± This is a full-time position
± This position requires frequent travel
± You would be working remotely

Summary At BackSlash we serve clients from all different walks of life, and whether the client is a business on a rebranding campaign, or the client is an artist collective creating a site to host their artwork, our Client Advisors are tasked with analyzing the digital needs of the client to provide them with a clear path to their best technology. Our Designers, Developers, and Managers will often turn to our Client Advisors for input on potential north stars, so Client Advisors are always ready to compile field findings into executables.

We prefer candidates who + Have consultative skills
+ Are attentive to detail
+ Have prior history managing an itinerary
+ Can think on their feet

Minimum Qualifications • 2 years of experience as an Executive Assistant

Generalist Developer

You Should Know ± This is a temporary position
± You would be working remotely
± This is a temporary position with the chance for full-time

Summary We're proud to announce our new Generalist Developer position to begin integrating future technologies into our current service and product offerings. Generalist Developers will be those few and special Full-Stack Developers who hear an idea and can immediately begin formulating ways to ship a prototype at breakneck speeds. As a Generalist you will be pulled into different teams (according to clients' needs), but will always report to our Core Product Manager as solutions and problems arise that can become part of the BackSlash brain base.

We prefer candidates who + Have excellent design and programming skills
+ Have experience owning product lifecycles from concept to deployment
+ Have demonstrable leadership ability
